RHEUMATOLOGIST
San Francisco Bay Area
Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) is seeking BC/BE Rheumatologists with interest in full-time or part-time clinical rheumatology care. The position is predominantly outpatient clinical care (in person / telemedicine) and inpatient consultations for our community hospital. We are looking for providers to work within a small, motivated group of Rheumatologists with a common goal to provide equitable and quality rheumatologic care in an underserved setting.
Contra Costa Regional Medical Center is a 167-bed acute care teaching hospital located in Martinez, California which is part of an integrated health care system with numerous ambulatory (primary and specialty care) clinics throughout the county. This is a wonderful opportunity for a well-trained mission-oriented Rheumatologist with the benefits of the Northern California lifestyle.
Position details:
- Flexible schedules with full- and part-time positions available - option of independent contracting position or employee position with excellent benefits
- Generous base salary competitive with regional Bay Area rheumatology salaries. Malpractice and CME offered in both independent contractor or employee position.
- No call requirements
- Predominantly outpatient clinical care (in person / telemedicine) and inpatient consultations for community medical center
- Robust clinical support from engaged nursing and clerical staff including 1:1 MA assignment, specialty care coordinator and LVN team to support the rheumatologist with patient communication (results, scheduling, etc.) and prior authorization processing
- Comprehensive imaging, lab & infusion services on-site
- Opportunity to be involved in resident teaching with our nationally recognized Family Medicine Residency Program
- Short commute to Berkeley, Oakland or San Francisco; Located close to other Northern California destinations including Napa Valley, Lake Tahoe, Muir Woods, Big Sur and Yosemite
- EPIC medical record system which is used across health centers and hospital for integrated care delivery.
